Arwork Commissions
If you have a landscape or urbanscape that is special to you, I would love to bring it to life — and to your wall — with a custom original oil painting.
Commission oil paintings come in three sizes: Small, Medium and Large, in landsacpe, portrait or square orientation. All are painted on 590gsm canvas, with a deep profile.
Framing in floating Australian Oak can also be provided, for an additional fee.

Frequently asked questions
How does it work — do I get to see the finished artwork before I pay?
Yes and no! A 50% deposit is required to secure the commission, with the balance upon completion.
How do I know that I’ll like it?
After receiving your deposit, I’ll start my prep work. This involves sketches and rough pastel or pencil drawings. Once I’m happy with an approach, I’ll proceed to a rough block-in on canvas (the first pass at the painting - typically filling in large areas of colour in the background) before adding a little bit of detail so that you can see your painting start to come to life. At this point I’ll share the work with you, and once I have your approval, I’ll proceed to completion.
Can I provide you with photos?
Yes please! That’s the best way to work. We’ll have a discussion before any work has begun about finding a suitable image. I will only proceed with images and a composition that I am confident will make a beautiful painting, so if it’s not suitable I’ll let you know, and we can try another one.
How long does the process take?
About 4-6 weeks from the payment of deposit. Two weeks prepping and painting, and the rest so that the painting can dry! Depending on the time of year, oil paintings can take a while to finish drying.
Do you provide framing?
I can provide either unframed or framed in Australian Oak, for an additional fee. See costs above.

Bring some photos and we can discuss a plan! If you’re happy, I’ll send through an invoice for a 50% deposit, and once this has been fixed up I will begin the work.
